وَلَكِنْ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ أَصْلٌ فِي ذَوَاتِهِمْ، بَلْ هُمْ إِلَى حِينٍ. فَبَعْدَ ذَلِكَ إِذَا حَدَثَ ضِيقٌ أَوِ ٱضْطِهَادٌ مِنْ أَجْلِ ٱلْكَلِمَةِ، فَلِلْوَقْتِ يَعْثُرُونَ. AVD
وَلاَ أَصْلَ لَهُمْ فِي ذَوَاتِهِمْ، وَإِنَّمَا هُمْ إِلَى حِينٍ. فَحَالَمَا يَحْدُثُ ضِيقٌ أَوِ اضْطِهَادٌ مِنْ أَجْلِ الْكَلِمَةِ، يَتَعَثَّرُونَ. KEH
And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. KJV
And they have no root in themselves, but endure for a while; then, when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately they fall away. ESV
