وَهُمُومُ هَذَا ٱلْعَالَمِ وَغُرُورُ ٱلْغِنَى وَشَهَوَاتُ سَائِرِ ٱلْأَشْيَاءِ تَدْخُلُ وَتَخْنُقُ ٱلْكَلِمَةَ فَتَصِيرُ بِلَا ثَمَرٍ. AVD
وَلكِنَّ هُمُومَ الزَّمَانِ الْحَاضِرِ وَخِدَاعَ الْغِنَى وَاشْتِهَاءَ الأُمُورِ الأُخْرَى، تَدْخُلُ إِلَيْهِمْ وَتَخْنُقُ الْكَلِمَةَ، فَتَصِيرُ بِلاَ ثَمَرٍ. KEH
And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. KJV
but the cares of the world and the deceitfulness of riches and the desires for other things enter in and choke the word, and it proves unfruitful. ESV
