وَهَذِهِ هِيَ ٱلدَّيْنُونَةُ: إِنَّ ٱلنُّورَ قَدْ جَاءَ إِلَى ٱلْعَالَمِ، وَأَحَبَّ ٱلنَّاسُ ٱلظُّلْمَةَ أَكْثَرَ مِنَ ٱلنُّورِ، لِأَنَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ كَانَتْ شِرِّيرَةً. AVD
وَهَذَا هُوَ الْحُكْمُ: إِنَّ النُّورَ قَدْ جَاءَ إِلَى الْعَالَمِ، وَلكِنَّ النَّاسَ أَحَبُّوا الظُّلْمَةَ أَكْثَرَ مِنَ النُّورِ، لأَنَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ كَانَتْ شِرِّيرَةً. KEH
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. KJV
And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. ESV
